I liked Lauree Thomas’ blog about loving thy neighbor as thyself because she talked about the issues of farmer loving his children more than his patients. Farmer has his occupation where he helps heal his patients but at the same time once he is done and gets of work he has to deal with and care for his children. That was his main responsibilities to take care of his children and heal also fix his patient.
Someone wrote about St. Katherine Drexel and what she stood for. I liked how that person wrote key facts about how she built her organizations up, also how she wanted to make an all-Spanish and black school which was Xavier the college and the high school. She wanted to devote her life to Christ in a special way by giving back to her community and starting the Blessed Sacrament for the nuns. This writer also caught my attention on some key facts that I didn’t know or read more in to. About how she set up a good amount of schools, and how she did everything with little help.
I became interested in Javon Bracy’s attempt to write about the geography of blame for the city of New Orleans and how the Haitians were put to blame for their spreading of the disease. She goes on and talks about how the Haitians shouldn’t really have all the blame for it because some of the northern American sex tourists also had dealings with this cause and effect as well. I liked how she said that they shouldn’t have All the blame put on their shoulders, an how she compares New Orleans to this crisis because of the rising rates of this killer disease.
